We are a student led society whose main goals are as follows:
1. To promote the values and ethos of the British Armed Forces and their role in today's society
2. To provide students with skills in practical leadership and management to increase employability
3. To assist with and provide information on any applications to the British Armed forces
Many of our members also serve on University Reserve Units: University Royal Naval Units; University Officer Training Corps (Army); and University Air Squadrons (RAF). Whilst the Armed Forces Society does provide information and advice on how to successfully apply to such organisations - much like the Law Society does when advising students on applying to training contracts with law firms - membership of UEA Armed Forces Society does not oblige nor confer membership of such external organisations.
The Society Executive is rapidly developing new and exciting plans, despite COVID-19 and hopes to speak with you soon.
