Taiwanese fried chicken, the origin of the beloved popcorn chicken, is a staple street snack that can be found at almost all night markets in Taiwan. These crispy bite sized bits of chicken are fried in a potato starch (or flour) and seasoning mix. Once you are comfortable with the recipe in the video you could even look into grilling the chicken before you fry it to give it an extra bit of crunch!
