The Pakistani Society at UEA is the sole representative of Pakistan in Norwich. Whether you're a qawwali person ot love jamming to Atif Aslam this society offers you the best of both worlds: a modern fusion with the contemporary. UEA Pakistani Society (PakSoc) is dedicated to organising events throughout the year to celebrate our rich culture. Look forward to our annual Eid Ball (which of course will be bigger and better than ever), as well as our games & movie nights. There will also be opportunities during the year to take part in performances and dance celebrating the Pakistani culture. Moreover, we will be running sports events (such as football tournaments), have discussion based events regarding hot Pakistani topics (such as politics), take part in collaborations with various other cultural societies, as well as run charity events that are dedicated to noble causes!
Our upcoming events include:
and many more...
If you are interested in joining our society, or you're still undecided, come along to our Meet and Greet event for some free food and more information on what we have planned for the coming year! Everybody is welcome!
