Rise to the challenge and be part of UEA's University Challenge team!
What is University Challenge?
University Challenge is the largest inter-university competition in the United Kingdom, and is a highly prestigious event broadcasted across the nation! This year, the SU is putting a team together from across the University to compete for the title, and we are looking for you to join us! Whether you're looking for the glory, to test yourself, or just to have some fun, University Challenge is a great way to build your confidence and meet new people!
No matter what your specialist subject, we are looking for five individuals (four team members, one reserve member) to represent UEA and take us to the top!
Undergraduates, postgraduates and doctoral students are all invited to join the process!
To apply for the tryouts, you need to meet the following criteria:
- You must not have appeared on a televised version of University Challenge before.
- You must be a student (defined as enrolled at UEA, or recognised course of study at UEA).
- Your final award must not have been conferred upon you.
- You must be available to attend all of the live TV recording sessions between February and April 2019. Overseas students that are available at these times are welcome to join!
